Workinnnnn 🔥 Thursday afternoon core & abs craziness. Just knocked out the @athleanx 22 day ab challenge, and the results speak for themselves. I had to do 6 exercises everyday for the last 22 days - I explain them below. They’re the 6 floor moves that are towards the end of the video* 👊🏿 Hanging knee tucks* 💥 4 sets (2 sets bodyweight, 2 sets with a dumbbell)* 👊🏿 Stability ball reversing plank circles* 💥 3 sets, 20 reps* 👊🏿 Hanging L-sit crisscrosses* 💥 3 sets, 30 reps* 👊🏿 Ab wheel rollouts* 💥 3 sets, 8 reps* - FROM THE AB CHALLENGE -* 👊🏿 Heels to the heavens* 💥 Set a timer for 45 seconds. If you can do them straight through without breaking, rest 10 seconds, then keep doing rounds of 45 seconds until you can’t do them without breaking, then move on to the next move* 👊🏿 Step through planks* 💥 Same 45 second rule from above* 👊🏿 “X” man crunch* 💥 Same rule, but the goal is 12 reps without taking a break* 👊🏿 Alternating thread the needle* 💥 Same rule, but the goal is 20 reps* 👊🏿 Alternating jack knives* 💥 Same 45 second rule from above* 👊🏿 Stationary bikes* 💥 Same rule, but only 30 seconds* #coachD #TheDarrenSystem #workinnnnn #athleanX

I have always had shoulder instability due to a genetic defect born with, and my rear delt has allowed several dislocations. The absolute best way to do that is to RELEASE whatever you are moving!! Without having to subconsciously begin the deceleration of the arm before it has fully accelerated (as you would if you maintained a grip on the bar in this land mine press), your true power capability can be expressed. This is exactly the reason why heavy medicine ball training will always have a place in a true athletes workout regimen. Let it fly and let the gains begin!
