It's amazing what living with an attitude of gratitude can do. Life-changing!!! That is if it's truly genuine and from the soul 🙇🏽‍♀️☄ Lately I've had a pretty big shift in my perception around a few things that were causing some major shit and pain in my life. Ultimately it would have prevented me from really ever moving forward.. So facing them with an attitude of gratitude (among other tools 🙋🏽‍♀️) has really changed the outcome on so many things in my life!! On the flipside, I haven't gotten to start my blog or a few other projects that I wanted to start. Ugh. Perfectionism. I think I have too many ideas and not enough hours in the day.. I have a bad habbit of setting unrealistic expectations for myself..what am I actually even doing in the long run by doing by doing that?! 🤔😑 Pause. Breathe. Pray. Repeat. Moderate Volume: Because you’re new to training and are hyper-sensitive to the stimulus, you don’t have to annihilate each muscle group with insane amounts of volume. A few sets for each muscle group per day will be more than enough to produce growth (this is especially true with adequate frequency). _ 2. Frequency: We want to ensure we’re hitting each muscle-group twice per week if we want to maximize growth. This has been shown to produce more growth than training each muscle once per week even when volume is equal. Not only that, but the more frequently you perform an exercise, the more efficient you become at that lift, making it far easier to progress. Also, thanks to the repeated Bout Effect, we know that training a muscle-group more frequently (to a degree) will allow us to recover much more efficiently. _ 3. Progressive Overload: When we introduce a stress to our muscle, our body is forced to adapt by building new muscle in the hopes that it will handle the same stress again in the future. If we fail to increase that stress, however, our body will find no need to repair and grow. Ladies you should heavy bench. Why? Well for 1 its really hard for us. I don't know why but it seems to be every woman's weakest lift so you automatically go up 3 bad ass points for being able to bench your body weight or more. For 2 I'm pretty sure it keeps the girls perky. Its probably best to check the scientific literature on that but I'd say its a pretty good theory. For 3 when the zombie apocalypse happens and you don't have a baby to tap into magic save the baby powers, you can still lift debris, cars, and hippopotamus off of you, because you did bench. P.S. I do have other shirts but why would I wear them when I can wear my punisher shirt. Wearing only a sports bra in the gym is so impractical during the winter. P.P.S. I have heard you should be cautious if your girls are not your real. I am not responsible for popping or leakage.
