Yesterday started a new fast on water, matcha green tea and salt 🍵 🍽. . In case this is your first post you see on my feed regarding my fasts: I did two fasts: 112 & 113 hour fasts in the last 2 weeks. This week I’m going to try shorter fasts, meaning 48 or 72 hours, having one meal and continuing another fast for the same amount of time. I have been fasting regularly for 10.5 years, so I am not a newbie. I am healthy and don’t have any illnesses. My first fast was 30 days on The Master Cleanse 10 years ago, my longest was 31 days. I no longer fast on The Master Cleanse, since Keto. My usual these days is just water (or sparkling water), matcha green tea, and a little salt. Matcha tea and sparkling water help not feeling hungry. Sometimes if Im feeling a bit hungry, I may drink some homemade bone broth that I have ready in the freezer. But it rarely happens that I feel hungry 🤗🍽. . Please fast responsibly. If you feel off or hungry, please eat! ❤️ Fasting has MANY benefits and can also be dangerous, depending on your body, activity level, whether you have illnesses, etc. and every body is different. Pretty much everyone can fast for a few hours (Intermittent Fasting). Please do your own research before you start a fast. A great book is THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO FASTING by Dr. Jason Fung and consult with your doctor 👩🏻‍⚕️👨🏽‍⚕️ I pretty much follow Dr. Fung’s protocols 📚📕 You can start by doing Intermittent Fasting for a few hours a day and increasing your fasting window, until you can challenge yourself to do a full 24 hours or longer. If you’re eating every day, more than once a day, I feel like the first day is the hardest. Now that I’m fasting more regularly, the first day is super easy because the days I am feeding, are 24 hour fasts anyway. Some people simply cannot fast. If you’re underweight, you shouldn’t fast. One thing that a lot of beginners don’t realise is that there is a certain gym etiquette that people follow and if you aren’t familiar with the etiquette you might be doing something wrong and not even realise it. If no one has ever told you how are you supposed to know? - The last thing you want to do is to follow the “bro’s” in the gym because they are the biggest offenders when it comes to gym etiquette. They think they are king shit and can do whatever they want. No one likes the bro’s - Take this video for example. In the first part of the video I am way to close to the equipment and no one else would be able to use the dumbbells around me because I’m blocking their space. You’ve probably seen this before and have wondered why they’re doing it (well he’s big so it must be doing something right?) Wrong! This is known as bad gym etiquette. - Never take up a lot of space in the gym. This will annoy people if you get in their way or stop them from getting to their equipment. - When you’re doing an exercise whether it be dumbbell curls, side raises, dumbbell bench press or anything else, just make sure you’re giving yourself and others enough space around you. - Ideally you should be about an arm span away from anything or anyone else which is enough room to allow them to get the any equipment they want and also do their exercise and not be interrupted. - As you can see I’ve taken a few steps back to allow people to have access to the dumbbells and to walk past if they need to. This will ensure that i’m not in anyones way and it also increases my chances of being liked (y) - 👇Comment below some poor gym etiquette you’ve seen in the gym so I can help make a video and make people aware of using a gym properly.👇

Did you ever eat mi - Goreng noodles? - If you didn’t you really missed out, these were the bee's knees when I was growing up. - This was like my staple, cheap daily lunch. - Sometimes I wouldn’t have access to hot water to cook them so instead, I’d just crush the noodles in the packet, cut open the sauces, pour the sauce in and shake it around until it looked like darth mauls face, just black and red everywhere! - I ate these for years until I found out how bad they were for you. - When I first started tracking my food and I entered them into MyFitnessPal I could have just started moping right there and then. - 420 whopping calories for one packet!!! - I was having two packets, with two pieces of bread and either steak or chicken. - I was easily having over 1200 calories from this meal alone (and I wondered why I couldn’t lose weight). - So, unfortunately, it was bye bye to the noodles 😢 - But I have found a solution, It’s these bad boys. - I know it says Spaghetti but trust me, make sure you get this one! - These noodles are only 20 calories for the whole packet and the best thing is they have the same mouth feel and consistency as mi-goreng. - So what I’ve decided to do is recreate my old favourite by mixing some Tabasco and soy sauce together, cooking up the noodles and then mixing the sauce with the noodles and hello mouthgasm! - If you want to rekindle your love with noodles without the unwanted calories then go and get yourself some of these! - You can find these in pretty much every supermarket shop in the health food aisle. - Double tap if you ♥️ noodles 🍝 - #noodles #nostalgia #carbsoncarbs #intermittentfasting #tysonsfoodtips

SUNDAZED *TURN SOUND ON* If you are new to intermittent fasting know this; it does get easier the further along you get. I'm coming up to my 1 year anniversary in March! My first 3 weeks I struggled with IF but that was just my body acclimatising as it had spent almost 30 years expecting food at a certain time of the day - The morning. My body has since re trained itself and I no longer get the hanger pains I once had. It's now become a part of my daily life I cannot imagine not doing it. I'm still learning but it's been a fun journey so far. I do advise everyone who is thinking about intermittent fasting to do extensive research of their own when first starting out as you need to know why you are doing it. 💪Bigger Shoulders, Bigger Chest and Bigger Triceps. - 👌That is what the overhead press will help you achieve when you do it correctly. The overhead press is one of the best compound exercises you can do for your upper body. Some even say it’s better than the bench press but that’s another topic. - 🛑When doing the overhead press you want to make sure you’re touching and pausing on the top of your chest for one second on every rep. There should be no bouncing or lowering the weight half way. - ✔️You want to ensure you’re using the full range of motion during this exercise to recruit all muscle groups and to develop overall strength. - 👉I recommend you do this at the start of your workout since it is a compound exercise and will use a lot of your upper body muscles. - 🚑I’d recommend staying in the 5 - 8 rep range with this exercise and build up your strength. You want to avoid high reps because when you fatigue with this exercise it can cause you to arch your back excessively or drop the bar on your head, both of which we definitely want to avoid. - 👉Make sure to follow my client @sjp123abc since he did such a great job demonstrating this exercise 😉

My first time attempting Sous Vide Egg Bites made in my Instant Pot. I got this mold from Amazon and looked up recipes online. They were so delicious, although they weren’t soft like the Starbucks ones because I didn’t add milk, guyere cheese or cottage cheese to them. My recipe was eggs, butter, cilantro, bacon, salt pepper and some Parmesan cheese. You steam them for 8 minutes, natural pressure release for 10 and quick release after that. 🎉👏🏼🤗👍🏼 . I have skipped breakfast for almost 3 years now as well as prescribing it to my clients and have found it to be the most simple and effective method of intermittent fasting available. - 🍕Does this mean you won't have days where you want to eat everything in site and find it a struggle to stay on track? HELL NO! - 🏓However, these days will become far less common than when you were eating breakfast.
